Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) is often a tough a subject to tackle, especially when making a full-fledged film. Sophisticated gadgets and gizmos, artistic crew and cast, and realistic gory scenes would be high on fans’ wish-list after years of being exposed to the awesome series of CSI on television. Miss the mark and be labelled wishy-washy, make the mark and be called a copycat. Either way is a gamble, which director N.S. Krishna took bravely, putting each step steadfastly for over two years to present local movie buffs his well-coined Tamil thriller, Manjari.
